The United States District Court for the Southern District of New York entered a final judgment against William Sadleir. Sadleir told investors in Aviron Group LLC, a company that he owned, that money raised would be used to support the distribution of films. Instead, he allegedly used the funds for personal expenses, including a Beverly Hills mansion. Sadleir pled guilty in the criminal matter and consented to a partial judgment in the SEC matter.
