FINRA Barred
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) has permanently barred former Craft Capital Management broker Szczepan Kosmaczewski (CRD No. 7192377) after he refused to cooperate with an investigation into the firm’s trading practices. FINRA launched the inquiry as part of its examination of Craft Capital Management’s securities recommendations and requested Kosmaczewski’s on-the-record testimony, a requirement under FINRA Rule 8210. Despite acknowledging the request, Kosmaczewski outright refused to appear, violating FINRA Rules 8210 and 2010, which mandate that brokers uphold high ethical standards. As a result, he has been banned from associating with any FINRA member, effectively ending his career in the securities industry.
Although Kosmaczewski is no longer registered, FINRA retains jurisdiction over former brokers for misconduct that occurred while they were licensed. While FINRA’s action removes him from the industry, it does not compensate investors who may have suffered financial losses due to his conduct or Craft Capital Management’s activities. If you invested with Kosmaczewski or Craft Capital Management and believe you were misled or financially harmed, you may have legal options to recover your losses.
