The SEC charged Ronald E. Filoramo with allegedly stealing $761,000 from two long-standing customers over a five year period during his time with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.  Filoramo recommended high-yield bonds owned by a wealthy client, who was actually his friend. The money was used for gambling and related expenses.
