FINRA Complaint

ChapmanAlbin is investigating potential claims on behalf of investors who worked with former Raymond James Financial Services advisor Meredith Webber.

According to a disciplinary complaint filed by FINRA in April 2025, Meredith Webber is under investigation for allegedly misappropriating funds from two elderly customers. FINRA alleges that Webber accepted a loan from a client without firm approval, failed to cooperate with multiple requests for documents, and repeatedly declined to provide on-the-record testimony, in direct violation of FINRA Rules 8210 and 2010.

Raymond James terminated Webber in July 2024 for the unauthorized loan, and later filed an amendment disclosing concerns about potential misappropriation of client assets. Despite multiple formal requests sent via mail and FedEx, Webber failed to provide requested documents—including bank records and client communications—or participate in scheduled testimony. FINRA contends that her refusal has significantly impeded its investigation.

If you were a client of Meredith Webber and suspect mismanagement or misuse of your funds, especially if you are an elderly investor or have a family member who was, contact ChapmanAlbin today.
