FINRA Barred

According to a FINRA disciplinary action filed in May 2025, Johnathon Sawaged has been barred from the securities industry after allegedly executing hundreds of unauthorized trades and falsifying firm records.

Between May and October 2022, while associated with Morgan Stanley in Farmington Hills, Michigan, Sawaged is accused of executing at least 325 discretionary trades in 13 customer accounts—without obtaining prior written authorization from the customers or the firm. He also allegedly submitted false order tickets that misrepresented trades as being authorized by clients when no such conversations occurred.

Although he initially cooperated with FINRA’s investigation, Sawaged later refused to provide on-the-record testimony, which led to an industry bar.
