The SEC charged Eliyahu Weinstein (a twice-convicted felon), Aryeh L. Bromberg, Joel L. Wittels, Richard M. Curry, Christopher J. Anderson, and Alaa Mohamed Hattab for their alleged roles in a scheme that involved raising over $38 million from 150 investors to purchase and sell healthcare products. Funds were used to make Ponzi-like payments to earlier investors.
