On March 28, 2018, former Columbus broker and investment advisor, Jeffrey Bryan Hall, pleaded not-guilty to another 32-count indictment, bringing the total number of charges against Hall to 65. All of these charges are pending against Hall in the Franklin County Common Pleas Court. Hall was previously indicted on July 27, 2017 on 30 counts of unlawful securities practices, two counts of theft and one count of attempted unlawful securities practices. He plead not guilty to those counts on August 2nd.

The new indictment covers another 30 counts of unlawful securities practices, one count of theft from a person in a protected class, and one count of telecommunications fraud. The telecommunications fraud involves $1 million or more and is a class 1 felony. Many of the criminal charges allegedly occurred during the times that Hall was trading customer accounts at the Fidelity or the Interactive brokerage firms.

Significantly, the new charges against Hall reveal that he allegedly engaged in multiple criminal acts after his August 2nd not guilty plea to the initial 32-count indictment. He was indicted on counts of additional unlawful securities practices occurring on August 25th and September 1st and the count of telecommunications fraud covers conduct from approximately June 26, 2012 to October 17, 2017.
