FINRA Barred
ChapmanAlbin is investigating claims on behalf of investors who may have been harmed by former broker Nicholas Armellino, most recently associated with GMS Group in New Jersey.
According to FINRA records, Nicholas Armellino has been permanently barred from the securities industry after refusing to cooperate with a FINRA investigation. The investigation was initiated in response to allegations that Armellino may have recommended excessive or unsuitable trades to customers. In February 2024, Armellino was asked to provide documents and information as part of the inquiry, but failed to comply with the request.
As a result, FINRA imposed a permanent bar, prohibiting him from associating with any FINRA member firm in any capacity.
Armellino was registered in the securities industry for nearly two decades and has a history of customer complaints, including allegations of unauthorized trading and excessive commissions. The most recent bar raises serious concerns about the potential harm caused to investors under his management.
If you were a client of Nicholas Armellino and suspect you were a victim of excessive trading, misrepresentation, or unsuitable investment recommendations, contact ChapmanAlbin today. Our firm is actively investigating claims and may be able to help recover your investment losses.
